Peavey MSP-1 Microphone Kit Jack
This Peavey microphone package is squarely aimed at those looking for a
budget-line entry level microphone of reasonable quality. Whilst this
mic is never going to sound as good as a Shure SM58 it does provide
better than average sound quality and gain levels.
The package includes all the additional accessories that are required to
accompany the microphone such as a 6mtr XLR to XLR lead, a microphone
clip to hold the mic in and a boom stand for those who wish to play an
instrument whilst singing/speaking.
The particular model provided in this MSP1 package is the Peavey PVi 100
which has a dynamic cardoid pick-up pattern that helps to reduce
background noise from other on-stage instruments, and thereby increase
the gain and clarity of the microphone. The PVi 100 also has an on/off
switch housed on the side and the package includes a dedicated nylon
carry-bag to protect the mic and boom stand from wear and tear on the
road.
