The CPX900 features a solid spruce top and flamed maple back and side. This combination provides a full, warm tone with excellent projection and an amazing look. Coupled to the latest ART pickup system, this is a guitar ready to perform.

These guitars are designed to provide great on-stage performance with large and deep bodies that deliver a big, dynamic sound. The CPX900 also features cosmetic upgrades and newly designed position markers for a guitar that is as beautiful as it is functional. The CPX900 utilises Yamaha’s new A.R.T. (Acoustic resonance Transducer) pickup which offers the player the most natural sound of any acoustic pickup. The 3-way system used in the CPX900 features separate pickups for full range, bass and treble and the System 57 preamp gives independent control over all 3 pickups, 3 band EQ and features and onboard chromatic tuner. Designed to be the ultimate performance pickup system, ART combines natural tone, outstanding dynamics and superior feedback rejection for an incredible on-stage experience.
